Set Back Beam: A set back beam allows you to give your aluminum patio cover an overhang. This makes it look great and adds extra strength to you patio cover. They are especially great for insulated patio covers if you live in an area that snows of has strong winds.

A note to customers
installing an aluminum patio cover in a corner situation:
If the aluminum patio cover is mounted on the eave of the house, it is possible that the insulated and aluminum patio cover can leak during
heavy rain. This type of installation usually does not meet code. To
avoid this, mount the aluminum patio cover on the wall below the eave and install seperate
gutters on the home's eaves. This will usually always meet code and prevent your aluminum patio cover from leaking.
