| We do not offer installation services, but may be able to help
you contact installers in your area. Feel free to call or E-mail us for
assistance. |
| How do I know
what size to order? How do I measure for the proper size? |
| Make sure to measure dimensions on your home (driveway,
back patio slab, etc.) in order to purchase the correct size
home improvement product. This will insure that your purchase
will install properly and easily. For instructions on how
to measure dimensions for your new patio cover, please see our
helpful
guide. |
| What warranties are available on
home improvement kit products? |
| Warranties available on your product will vary depending
on manufacturer. You
will receive specific warranty information with your order. Mason
products usually come with a Lifetime Limited Warranty which outlines
that its "Lattice, Patio Cover, Carport, and Awning products
manufactured by Amerimax...will not rust, and the finish will
not chip, peel,
flake, or blister under conditions of normal wear for the life
of the original retail purchaser. This lifetime limited warranty
commences on the completed installation date of the products on
the original purchasers property, is offered only to the original
retail purchaser, is not transferable and only applies to manufacturing
defects in the products. Steel products are not warranted
against rust." We have not had a warranty claim in 20
years! |
| I just placed my order, when should
I expect it to arrive? |
| Most orders arrive in approx. 2 weeks from the date
your order is received. Feel free to Call or E-mail us
to check on the status of your order. |
| How do I receive my shipment? |
| Your order is shipped via Truck Line. The dock in your
city will call you to arrange delivery of your items. When
your items are delivered, inspect all boxes as they are taken off
the truck. |
| My order has arrived damaged, what
should I do? |
IMPORTANT:
Inspect all boxes as they are taken off the truck.
If there is any damage to the boxes, note the damage on
the drivers waybill.
Immediately unpack and inspect the merchandise (while
the driver is there, if possible).
Note any damages to the
items on the drivers waybill.
Call 1 888 814-7531 and notify
us of any damages or missing items.
DO NOT REFUSE THE SHIPMENT,
this will only delay us getting the damaged items replaced.
If there is any damage not noted on the waybill, the freight claim
may be denied! |
| What is your return policy on home
improvement kit products? |
| Because home improvement kit products are custom ordered, they
are not returnable. |
| How should I care for/clean my
home improvement kit product? |
In most cases, normal rainfall is sufficient to keep your
aluminum product clean. However, if cleaning is necessary,
Mason Corporation recommends the following guidelines
for
cleaning their aluminum
products:
For moderate dirt - An occasional washing with clear water using
a garden hose and soft-bristled brush is recommended (a long-handled,
car washing brush is ideal for this purpose).
For a heavier dirt accumulation - Wash in the
manner indicated above, but use the following solution:
1/3 cup detergent (Tide for example)
2/3 cup trisodium phosphate (Soilax for example)
1 gallon water
Mildew accumulation - Mildew can collect on surfaces of all types
of building products and is often evident on surfaces that have
not been properly maintained. Normally, mildew will appear
as black spots. Mildew is easy to remove by using the following
cleaning solution:
1/3 cup detergent (Tide for example)
2/3 cup trisodium phosphate (Soilax for example)
1 quart sodium hypochlorite 5% solution (Clorox for example)
3 quarts water
Caulking compounds, tar, etc. - Use mineral spirits in reasonable
amounts, apply directly to the foreign substance. Rinse
the area thoroughly with water immediately after cleaning.
