cover.

| MATERIAL
LIST - 18' x 18' STEEL CARPORT |
| Steel Posts: 12'
long galvanized steel post 3" x 3" (or 2-7/8" round
pipe). Paint optional.
Channel Frame: 18' x 6" x 2-1/2" Galvanized
steel channel.
Frame: Galvanized steel Cee's "C" 18' x
6" x 2.5" (sized to slip into the channels).
Roofing: 80,000 tensile strength galvanized steel roof metal
coverage of 36" x length (18') of carport with a 5/8" inch
rib height at 6" O.C. ribs. (49,000 PSI metal is a good
alternative).
Hardware: #12 x 3/4" tec screws with
metal and neoprene washers. Galvanized bolts 3.5" x
7/16" with washer and locking nut 2 at each post. Steel
rod 8" through post at bottom of post.
Trim: Steel Trim 7" x 1" x 10'1" factory
painted to match homes trim color.
Other: Galvanized lag bolts for attached
covers, Concrete anchors as needed for post bracket anchoring,
1/4" steel post bracket as needed to anchor post to concrete
drive.

Commercial aluminum
cover, each 18' x 18' section covers two cars. The cover is square
to the
parking lot but cars are parked
at an angle. Aluminum "W" pans supported over 10" aluminum "C" beams
on steel post, This type of cover gives a nice clean look.

This steel cover protects a paint & body
shops make ready area. The size is 35' x 57' x 11' with a shed
roof style slope.
Because there are no side walls rigidity had to be built into
the frame. Note that the concrete footings are at different heights
to accommodate the slopping parking area.
