Once destined for landfills, milk jugs are transformed into recycled plastic lumber used to create our casual outdoor furniture. Poly-Wood
Poly-Wood Inc. was founded in Indiana as a "garage start-up" in 1990 by partners Mark Phillabaum and Doug Rassi. In 1993 the Trade Wind Rocker, their first trade show entry, won the Lillian B. Winchester "Best of Show" award at the international Casual Furniture Market. Since then, Polywood has expanded their lines to over eighty designs. This growth led to the "Merchandising Excellence" award as well as production of chair number one million. Poly wood is positively affecting the environment by using recycled plastic once destined for landfills. The classic and cutting edge designs require minimal maintenance; and the solid, heavy-duty, quality construction in all weather conditions allow us to say: IT'S POLY-WOOD. Poly-Wood Inc. warranties to the original purchaser, that for a period of five (5) years for residential use (three (3) for commercial use) from the date of purchase against any defects in the manufacturing and workmanship of the furniture components. “Defects” is defined as imperfections that impair the original function of the product. This warranty does not apply to normal wear and tear effects on the furniture, which is received by regular use of the furniture. Neither does it cover damage due to unauthorized repairs or alterations, negligence, misuse or abuse, improper assembly and acts of God. This warranty does not apply to the hardware used to assemble the furniture.
