PROCESS:
After welding and sanding, the bare metal frame undergoes a PH balance wash and primer coating process.  The primered frame is heated at 660 degrees Fahrenheit in a Thermal Tunnel before it is dipped into an air injected powdered paint mixture.  The air circulated powder coat, and approximately fifteen times thicker than a wet coat.

With the outer shell still  uncured, the coated frame again enters the thermal tunnel for its final heating process at 390 degrees Fahrenheit. The paint is completely dried and hardened, creating our on-of-a-kind finish that is approximately eight times thicker than a standard powder coat, and approximately fifteen times thicker than a wet coat.

This exclusive state of the art process resists scratching, peeling, fading and chipping.   Furthermore, the frame remains Fifty percent (50%) cooler to the touch long after exposure to sunlight. You can be further reassured by our Five (5) year anti-rust guarantee.

THE FOUR ELEMENTS IN KETTLER METAL FINISH:

TREATMENT AND CARE OF WROUGHT IRON
KETTLER wrought iron furniture can be safely used outdoors since all parts are protected with a special surface treatment.  If discrepancies should be discovered in the coating, rub down area with medium grit sandpaper, than carefully smooth area with fine grit sandpaper.  Wipe with a clean cloth and re-finish with the touch-up paint provided (shake well).  We recommend the furniture be polished at least once a year with a car wax or polish to ensure optimum resistance to weathering.

Wrought Iron frame/finish is guaranteed for five (5) years residential use.  Commercial warranty is five (5) year on finish and one (1) year on frame.
